Cinque Terre Camping is a web site which gives all information about two of the most equipped campsites of the Ligurian East-Coast :

The "Cinque Terre" territory includes the coastal strip running from Punta Mesco ( at the west side of
Monterosso), till
Portovenere; it’s a 15 km long coast belt, between mountains and sea.
Behind them, there’s the Vara Valley and, in their final part, the Gulf of La Spezia.
The steep profile of this territory, sometimes overhanging the sea, reveals hills which can be high even 700 – 800 meter. On these hills we find growings of grapevine on the typical and famous terraces, built with short dray-stone walls, sometimes broken up by rocks and wild areas covered by heather, broom and pines, in a depht of only 3 or 4 km.
Among these hills sloping down to the sea and beautiful creeks have curled up the villages of
Cinque Terre:
Riomaggiore,
Manarola,
Corniglia,
Vernazza,
Monterosso.
It's a strip of land and rocks, its nature is as much wonderful as harsch and severe, where its inhabitants, cause of difficulties and effort, have been living here for thousands of years in struggle with their beloved landscape.
